What we collect, and why.

Who we are

Relief makes drug-free tools for period pain. In this policy, "we" and "Relief" mean the team operating this website. If you have any question about your data, write to hello@reliefcare.store.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, plus anonymous data about how the site is used:

• Pre-orders. When you reserve a product, we store your email address, which product you reserved, and — if you choose to give them — your name and phone number, so we can tell you when it ships.
• Register-interest (Pulse). If you register interest in Pulse, we store what you provide — an email or phone number, and optionally your name and a note about what you'd want the device to do.
• Comments. If you post a comment or reply on a product, we store the name you enter, your email address, and your comment text. Your email is never published — it's visible only to us, so we can reply if your comment needs an answer. Comments are moderated before they appear.
• Survey. If you answer our short survey, we store your answers. Where you reached the survey from one of our emails, the answers are linked to your reservation so we can honour the reward and follow up.
• Contact form. Our contact form opens your own email app with the message pre-filled — it doesn't send anything to us until you press send from your email client.
• Anonymous usage analytics. As you browse, we record anonymous, aggregate behaviour — pages viewed, time on a page, scroll depth, which links you click, and where you arrived from (e.g. a campaign link). This is first-party and not tied to your name. See "Cookies and analytics" below.

What we don't collect

We don't take payment on this site, so we never see card or bank details. We don't run third-party advertising or social-media tracking pixels, we don't build cross-site profiles of you, and we don't sell or rent your information to anyone.

How we use it

• To reserve your order and email you when a product is ready.
• To reply to your questions and honour survey rewards.
• To decide, in aggregate, what to build first and how to improve the site.
• To moderate comments and prevent spam and abuse.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site, and share data with them only so they can perform that service:

• Cloudflare — website hosting, our database, and the code that handles form submissions.
• Resend — sends our confirmation and reminder emails.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. Otherwise, that's the whole list.

Cookies and analytics

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. To keep your browsing session together, the site stores a random, anonymous session id in your browser's session storage — it's cleared when you close the tab and isn't shared with anyone. Our analytics are first-party and aggregate; they tell us "this page is read for 30 seconds on average," not who you are.

If you reserve a product, register interest, or answer the survey, that same session id is saved alongside your entry. It lets us understand what people read before deciding — for example, "people who reserved spent longest on the evidence section." You can ask us to delete it along with the rest of your data at any time.

Emails

If you reserve a product or register interest, we'll send you a confirmation and, occasionally, a short follow-up. These relate directly to your sign-up. You can opt out at any time by replying to any of them and asking to be removed — we'll take you off the list.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep reservation and interest details until launch and for a reasonable period afterwards to fulfil your order, then no longer than we need them. You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, by emailing hello@reliefcare.store. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if our practices change, and revise the "last updated" date above. For anything significant, we'll do our best to tell the people it affects.
